  1. Grind the requirements according to your brewing technique (Agile).
  2. Warm up the squad to the proper temperature (often between 100% — 200% °F skills).
  3. Stir the grounded backlog through a project management filter and distribute it to teams.
  4. Be careful to "wet" (sprint plan) all the stories as you slowly pour the team’s hot commitment over them.
  5. Allow the tasks to brew for about a defined number of minutes (sprints), then remove the issues, if any.

Repeat the steps for changes and increments.

Pour the delivery into a client mug and enjoy!

Aren't the aforesaid steps a good way to figure out what Agile Project Management is all about?

If so, there are a few tips to keep in mind to create the perfect cup of coffee.

The way that Agile-Project Management is done may make it challenging for a project manager to view it from that perspective.

But the Project Management Institute, which offers certificates based on that, clearly supports agile in its approach in the PMBOK.

Fair Enough ?

The developer’s perspective on Agile-Project Management may be discouraging because of the constant changes and task-based environment.

I know we always done it unwittingly when using Waterfall or any other PM techniques.

But we benefit from early error proofing, inventiveness, teamwork, and collaboration in this approach. Isn’t this worthy ?

The client’s perception of Agile-Project Management may be favorable because it offers them micro-level control over the project.

The client can add or amend most of the requirements while the project is still in progress without incurring significant costs. But the exploitation must be arrested here by the project manager. PM is the guard rail?

Now, You might ask me, “Is Agile Project Management the best technique to deliver any project ever?“

Big “NO” is how I would respond to that.

Agile is best suited for high levels of uncertainty, yet in every agile-managed project, the task must be steady to work on, which is basically waterfall-style project management once again.

To sum up, the agility we observe outside our window is identical to the agility we observe in the projects on our laptops and PCs.
